Jan 10, 10 pm. Dads aft snoring away....I can't sleep. Thought about plugging a DVD in to the player and hooking up the HDMI cord to the laptop but felt like writing instead.

It's 77 degrees out, you all in Washington have snow.....what a trip! I have only a pair of shorts on......that's it! Sipping on a glass of red wine Sunny Girl bought for me at the "SORIANA'S" grocery in Manzanillo....MMMMM! Everything is sticky...the table I sit at, the keys on my laptop the deck, the cushions....pretty much anything you touch or sit on. I've cleaned it all just a day ago....salt is everywhere! Ahhhh, the price you pay to play in paradise...poor me....right?!???

Today we ran into shore and I showed my Dad how me and Sunny figured out the landing prowess with the new dingy wheels.....he was impressed, didn't even get his shorts wet! After hauling it up to dry land we walked down to the palapas and took in the scene as Dad video taped. Geez man, add a camera and now we really look like touristas! We met a couple Canadians in lounge chairs who told us about this place for food....hooked like a fish for seafood....we were there. Sitting at a resin table and chairs we were served under a brightly colored umbrella the following: Fresh oysters grilled with garlic, onion, butter and bacon...clams with garlic butter, 3 margaritas to die for and a couple beers.....needless to say....FAT AND HAPPY!!!!....and that was it! Dad had no interest in seeing the stuff me and my girl saw last week, didn't care about the bridge or hotel or other palapas or the tiendas or vendors or anything.....just went back to wades aweigh! No worries DUDE!....I took my first nap this year on the boat, it was heaven with my fan blowing on me....laying forward on my bunk, counting sheep.....oblivious to the world around me.

An hour later I woke up, it was 615pm, time to snorkel! So off we went with my spear gun....I wanted fish!!! Dad ran the dingy while I played free diver, going as deep as I could with a single breath hold....it was awesome. I went until I could see no longer and was summoned back by a yell from pop's....."GODDAMMIT, I CAN'T EVEN SEE WHERE YOU ARE SON....TIME TO PACK IT IN!!!"
So, being the good son that I am, I obeyed. Shivering, back I went to the boat for a cold shower in the cockpit and a drink....life is good! We talked till about 915 pm then poppie was out-

So, there you have it, a day in the life of Sailor Boy and Capm Dad. Tomorrow we plan on getting up early (8 or 9) and head to the outer bay for some more snorkeling and maybe an overnighter.....but if wx is bad or holding sucks, we will go north to Barra (Melaque) to stay for a few days.

Yes Sweetie, I will check that one shop for the stuff....and treat dad to our favorite spot where they have the awesome guac and cold beers! (wish you were here!!!)

Holy GOD! How could anyone snore as loud as that? Pop's is grinding some serious wood back there!!!
