These fishing camps dot the Venezuelan coasts and islands and serve as temporary shelters for fishermen.

We've seen these dotted all around the islands and coasts of Venezuela. Presumably in the old days, the lookout would just yell when he saw a school of fish swimming into the smaller bays, now, I believe, they just use their cell phones.

If you look carfully, you can see our boat, Wandering Albatross, and Frank and Gretchen's boat, Infinity, in the background of this picture. We hiked a different hike almost every day while we were anchored here. We just loved this place!
