It Must Be Time To Leave

20 July 2006 | Blaine, WA
It must be time for us to leave to go cruising. While in Seattle earlier this week we visited Fisheries Supply, one of the marine stores where we make frequent purchases. For the first time ever, we didn't have a long list of boat stuff to purchase. We found ourselves wandering down all of the aisles with an empty basket - an unheard of phenomenon for us. So, we've come to the conclusion that it must be time to get out of Dodge - there's nothing else we need to buy to prepare for our trip!

Provisioning

06 July 2006
I'm stocking up on non-perishables for our trip down the coast. Tom is convinced that I think there are no grocery stores between here and Mexico. I keep telling him that I would rather stock up now while I have access to a car. Schlepping bags of groceries on foot in the hot sun is not my idea of fun.
