Our friend Andrew arrived Monday for a 10 day visit. We picked him up in a rented car, and next day we spent the day in Marsh Harbour. Got some essential shopping done, had lunch at Mangoes and enjoyed the town. That evening, chatting away and not paying attention, while getting dinner I fell down the 3 narrow stairs next to the fridge, and sprained my ankle. I have never done that, but I did break it years ago, and I can tell you this hurt more. Maybe its just the years have dulled the memory. Anyway, I was out of commission for days, confined to the boat while the guys golfed and played tennis. I did enjoy my enforced leisure, reading and knitting and surfing the net. I am much better now.
Thursday we went out fishing and had a very successful day. Several good size mutton snapper were landed and we have had one meal so far out of them. Another in the freezer. Andrew caught a 5 ft nurse shark of all things. Surprising how little it fought the hook. Naturally he just cut the line and let it go, but not before I got a few pics. www.picasaweb.google.com/bcaldoc
We are planning a trip to Nipper's tomorrow. Hopefully we will be able to snorkel the reef off the beach.

Extra: We decided to sail after Barb read a book called "An Embarassment of Mangoes". We learned to sail in Pensacola Florida in 2009 from Captain Rick Cumby and bought our boat, a 2002 Gemini 102 MC, hull 783 a week later.
