Barb/26 sunny, thunderstorm expected
The days are all blending together and at the same time, flying by. We took Andrew out to Great Guana for the annual Nippers trip and beach snorkel. Very successful day. He took pictures and promises to send them to me for posting on the web at www.picasaweb.google.com/bcaldoc
Andrew left Thursday after a 10 day visit. The guys got in 4 golf games and a couple of tennis games, several bike rides, a beach walk or two and some very successful fishing. We still have fish from their efforts, fish from before Andrew arrived, and yesterday our neighbour on the big fishing boat gave us some fresh caught mahi mahi. Lots of free great meals coming up.
Friday we went out snorkelling at the Fowl Cay water park. Wonderful reefs, lots of varied fish. Next year, an underwater camera is on my Christmas list. Yesterday we tooled around the local bay in the dinghy. No reefs but a small island or two and a wreck to snorkel. Even flat, superficially uninteresting areas have secrets to reveal if you just hover in one place and watch. The ocean is a perpetual show of beauty.
Marsh Harbour trip planned for tomorrow.

We are a Canadian couple from Shelburne, Ontario. Tom is a retired printing plant owner and former pilot. Barb is a family doctor who sold her practice in April of 2009 and now works as a full time emergency physician when she is not sailing. [...]
Extra: We decided to sail after Barb read a book called "An Embarassment of Mangoes". We learned to sail in Pensacola Florida in 2009 from Captain Rick Cumby and bought our boat, a 2002 Gemini 102 MC, hull 783 a week later.
