Norman Island 040908-041508
Norman Island. Norman Pond. If you followed us on the way down, these might sound familiar. This just happens to be the most awsome place in all of the Bahamas (at least the part I've seen so far). And we're back! I've chosen the lot where I'm going to build my house...it overlooks the inside of Normans Pond, with a view of the Exuma Sound on one side and a view of the Banks on the other. Who needs a yacht? Fly in (oh yes, Normans has an air strip as well (they used to fly drugs in and out of here) Ooh. what is this bag of white powder floating by??).

Another boat came in while we were here. Now there's 2 of us in here. He parked way down at the other end. No other boats within 200 yards. And I have my choice of 10 or so beaches. And this is the busy season!

Hawksbill Cay - 040308 to 040408

I am SO glad we left that beautiful beach at George Town so we could come here. Now we have a beautiful beach at Hawksbill! What a HUGE difference!
