Turtle!

Bill
Watched a large lake turtle crawl across properties and head back into the lake. She no doubt deposited her eggs somewhere, possibly up near the roadway (we've seen that behavior before).
We've been busy landscaping and improving, trying to get it more maint-free...if that is possible. :)
The dock is almost done, but some edging still remains undone, as I am awaiting the special SS gray screws to install it. Also want a rear dock ladder, but otherwise, all is about done - finally.
It's been HOT and hotter, but the lake water and breezes help a LOT. We watched a fairly large bass atacking the bluegills. We have a lot of those small fry all around our dock. They enjoy our feeding the two ducks that come around quit often for more bread/rolls. The bluegills go crazy for the leftovers.
Also got all the joists completed on the master deck and it is ready for new decking now. Lawn need mowing again too. Still some fescue and even the zoysia is getting longer. sigh
We've been enjouying some lazy boat trips to Washburn's Marina for ice cream and the fire-works around the lake by private owners has begun. Happy Independance Day!!!
