Leg 4 - Day 3

18 September 2012 | Greenwich, NJ
Jeff
We are still here at Greenwich NJ. We waited out the storm which everyone on the eastern seaboard experienced. I worked all day because we had nothing else to do.. Rick, as always, made friends with a fella named Monroe within seconds after landing yesterday, so today all 4 of us went to dinner in his car. It was good to get a day off from our long run. It was blowing like a bastard here... we saw 35knots on the wind meter (42mph).

Right now its really calm and we are getting ready for bed. If the weather looks good in the morning, I have one one call for work and we will head out for a short 35 mile run down to Cape May, NJ. There we will decide when we will start the run up the NJ coast. At this point we will not make New Haven, but we are aiming to get to at least within two days sail so I can come back down and bring it up with a new crew for a weekend.. I'll check in tomorrow!!
