It feels great to be back on the boat. We left San Carlos on Nov. 24th. The winds were forcast to be 10-15 knots out of the North. Where have I heard that before???? Well, Once we got out of the bay we knew we were going to have some wind. The seas were bumpy and it was only 6:30 in the morning. The morning progessed so did the wind and seas. We had winds up to 30 knots and the seas were steep and very close together. The good thing was we saved on fuel and we made good time crossing the sea. It was a wild ride. We pulled into Chavato right before dark. It was a good anchorage for the North winds. It was great to be out of San Carlos. We will work our way down the baja until we get to Isla San Fransico and cross back over to Mazatlan from there. We will spend the holidays there and have some work done on the boat.
