From Petes back north

12 March 2013 | Marsh Harbor
The wind has changed some and larger waves off the ocean. After breakfast we go into the pub and pay for our three nights. We will be leaving early tomorrow morning. We go for a walk along the ocean watching the waves breaking and the entrance looks really rough. Glad to be in the Sea of Abaco. It is even rough all along it from the report on cruisers net. If you stay here 3 nights the 4th is free, but we still plan to leave tomorrow.
Up early and out about an hour before high tide. We find the outlets to the Atlantic a bit rough down this way but better as we get further north. We hear Sweet Chariot and Second Option at Tilloo. They got down this far but the weather stopped them from going any further. They are heading up to Marsh. We can go the shorter trip at this tide and come up between Lubbers Quarters and Elbow Cay. We have a great sail and come back into Marsh Harbor and drop anchor.
We plan to be here until after the Barefoot Man concert at Guana. Stocking up getting laundry done.
