31 January 2014 | New Smyrna Beach
We have been here a few days and a good time to be safe on a dock and plugged in. It has been raining and windy for 3 of our 5 days. The weather looks good for a few days, possibly foggy in the morning tomorrow but we hope to get away 7:30 or 8, so we can have current with us. The mechanic came this morning with our part and we got it on. They took the boat out for a trial run, but had a problem with the fuel pump. Back at the dock worked on it and went for another run. She seems to be ok. So we will head out tomorrow, wish us luck. We hope to be in Vero Beach in a couple of days. Will decide our next move when we see how the boat works.
If the weatherman is right February looks way better than January. Warmer temperatures, some rain but the lows should be in the 50's at the lowest. Once we get organized we will try to get some pictures and send them out. Hope February brings better weather back home. Will let you know when we get to Vero Beach.
