Windy and cool again

18 February 2015 | Stuart
The next couple of days look cool and windy. Tonight and tomorrow night are in the mid 30's or 4-6. But Friday on look good. We had high wind gusts last night and then some rain. The sun is out now and we are suppose to be in the mid 60's. We have seen some pictures from home and it is more snow than we have seen in a long time. Hope we all start getting better weather soon. We arrived here in Stuart on Monday. We had the wind against us but only it was only rough for a few hours. We came into the mooring field and picked up a mooring ball. We may try to get some time on the dock for some of the month. Yesterday we spent the day with Dan and Linda. We went over to their place on Nettle Island. It was nice and sunny plus warm, but the wind was up and the boats in the marina there were really rocking. We walked over to the beach and watched the waves coming in. We spent some time on their dock sitting out having drinks it was one of the warmest days we have had since we left Green Cove. We hope we can get them out for a sail and have a few more visits before they leave at the end of February. Looking back at last years log we arrived here at the exact same time in 2014. We plan to stay for a month again. Good to see friends from home.
