Fun in Little Harbour

I spoke too soon about the Internet in my previous post. It's been sketchy at best, so the blog is behind!!
We're enjoying our time in Little Harbour--- it's a great place to hide from the winds !!! It's windy even in the Harbour here, but nothing like the outside!!
We get a couple of projects completed while here---- the new zinc is installed, and the bottom cleaning gets started. I do some inside chores--- mostly cleaning!!
We take the dinghy to shore, and explore the lighthouse ruins. What a view!!! The waves are crashing against the cliffs--- wow!! We make a stop at Pete's Pub for a cold beer or two. Then it's back to SeaQuell for dinner.
Tonight is spaghetti night. I had made homemade sauce and frozen it, so we enjoy a nice home cooked meal.
It's early to bed tonight-- we're rocking around quite a bit with the wind, but I hope we sleep well.
Day two in Little Harbour is a little calmer, so we take the dinghy over to do some cave exploration. Supposedly, the founding family of this island, the Johnsons' lived in this cave!! This cave is big!!! The guys go much higher and deeper into the nooks--- I watch from my safe standpoint at the main opening. There's too many big bats fly in' around in there for me!!
We head to Pete's Pub for a late lunch of burgers and beer. We meet a nice man (a pilot), who joins us for lunch. Nice conversation, good food, wonderful view!!! The island children are playing in the shallow water just in front if the pub, and they are having a great time!!! It's wonderful to watch them, and hear their squeals of delight!!
We head back to SeaQuell late afternoon.
The Harbour has lots of turtles and dolphins playing!!! So much fun to watch!!
Dinner is leftover spagetti. Don does the dishes!!! We make our plans to leave here tomorrow on a rising tide--- heading to Elbow Cay!!!
