Wow!!! What a Bon Voyage party the Main St. Mafia in Bath, NC had Saturday night. Lots of well wishes/safe voyage wishes for us. Great food, fun and fellowship were had by all. Thanks to my sister Connie and my brother - in- law Rick- fantastic hosts!!!!

I spent most of today packing up the pantry and doing some cleaning in the house where we've been living. Cleaned the ovens/dishwasher/stove etc.

The pantry is all packed and ready to go- a girl's gotta eat , ya know!!!


Poor Maggie knows that something is amiss. She has followed me around all day, whining and whimpering. I think she's afraid we're gonna leave her behind--- not a chance!!! She's our best girl.

We are surely gonna miss the close knit community we have come to call home ( for the past 5 months ).

Getting more excited by the day. Come on Friday!!!
