Best sail yet!!!!! We left Great Sale around 7:00 am. We had a wonderful sail to West End. Averaged 7-8 knots. Calm seas, great wind.
Judy and Robert did a little fishing along the way. We caught what we think is a small "some sorta tuna". Filleted it for "tuna finger" appetizers for tonight's' dinner.
We also caught two Baracuda. Used one for bait and set the other one free.
Lunch of cheese, salami, and crackers.
Arrived West End around 3:30 pm---- celebratory cocktails and snacks. Thinking of jumping on some bikes to explore the village. Should be interesting after the cocktails.
Bike ride was fun!!! Met some of local folks. Purchased ginger beer, tonic, soda, juice and lemons at a small convenience store. Doled out $1 bills to the local kids for candy purchases!! Love their big grins!!
Short walk on the beach when we returned to the dock. Showers for everyone and dinner aboard SeaQuell.the tuna was delicious!!! We also had lobster tails!! Yummy!!
Early bedtime tonight. Planning departure at 6:00 am tomorrow for crossing!
