Departed West End around 6:15 am. It's still dark, but we crept out slowly, and raised the sails as soon as we were underway.
Spectacular sunrise!!!! Nothing like watching that big orange ball come up!!!
The crossing was relatively smooth-- small waves, and nice wind. At one point, we were making over 10 knots!! Judy tried fishing, but no luck today!!
All of our systems worked well-- no engine failures, no shredded sails!!!! We still have no autopilot, but the guys do a great job of hand steering.
We arrived in Stuart, FL at our marina around 4:00 pm. Greeted by friends!! Tied SeaQuell up safely, and had drinks to celebrate!!
Dinner of burgers and fries at Splash.
Tired, but happy; early bedtime tonight.
All I can say is WOW!!! Can't wait to return to The Bahamas again---- wheels already turning!! What a wonderful vacation!!!!
