We left Loggerhead in Daytona Beach around 6:30 am. We had planned an offshore passage, but the forecast has changed to non-favorable wind direction.
We motor sailed up the ICW all day, and until around 8:30 pm. Anchored in Fernandina (Amelia Island) in a nice, quiet anchorage. We were the only boat there.lots of dolphins escorted us in!!
Late dinner of baked pork chops, rice and mushrooms ( cooked in the oven while underway). Late bedtime, but gotta rise early tomorrow. Planning fuel stop at Fernandina Harbor Marina, and then out to sea at St. Mary's Inlet.
