We slept a little better last night. SeaQuell is still rocking about, bit things have settled a little bit.
Robert is having a tough day-- his right knee is extremely swollen and painful.i can actually feel the fluid accumulation around his kneecap.
We walk to breakfast at a small deli/bakery. Carl needs a biscuit fix!!
After breakfast, we return to our boat. Robert has several meetings this morning, and I need to do a little "housekeeping"
Lunch is at the local hot dog joint, Bryan's. It was very highly recommended and did not disappoint.
After lunch, Robert gets back to work. I enjoy a nice hot shower--- best $5 I've spent in a while!!!! Then it's nap time!!!!
Late in the afternoon, I don my foul weather jacket and walk to the drugstore for a brace for Robert's knee.
Melissa, Carl , Robert and I are having cocktails and dinner with Andy and Mel tonight. Mel picks us up around 6, and we head to their lovely B and B for drinks. After several rounds for all of us (except Andy--he's our DD), we head to C & H oyster bar. We filled up on steamed and fried oysters--- yummy!! Good food, great friends, and lotsa laughs!!!!! So much fun with our new friends!!!
We crash into bed around 11:00 pm--- gotta get some sleep. We plan to head out tomorrow am-- crossing the Albemarle Sound.
