Fun in Green Turtle and New Plymouth
28 March 2015
Becky
Saturday March 28
We slept until 8:00 am. Coffee in the cockpit, watching all the boats in the mooring field .
Robert heads over to New Plymouth to check in at customs. He had one helluva dinghy ride over, and returned pretty wet.
We rent a golf cart, and head out to explore.
We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at The Wrecking Tree-- cracked conch, conch salad, peas and rice, French fries, chicken. Cold Kalik, Goombay Smash, and Wreckers are the beverages of choice for Robert and Becky.
Enjoyed a walk on the beach, collecting shells. Maggie had a blast!!!
We visited a couple of bars; listened to some good tunes, napped in the hammock beachside, and waded in the crystal waters.
We also hit a couple of bakeries. Yum!!!
Back to SeaQuell before sunset. Maggie is exhausted, and the rest of us are pleasantly tired/a little wind and sun baked.
Another wonderful day!!!
