Hopetown Fun

07 April 2015
Becky
TUESDAY, April 7

We left our mooring in Little Harbour around 9:30 am. We raised both the jib and the main immediately. There's a nice 10-12 knot easterly wind. We average 6 knots. It's pretty nasty offshore, so we stay inside, and pass on the fishing.

We arrive at Hopetown just after noon, and decide to stay at the marina for a day or two.

Lunch is shrimp cocktail, and cold beer. Really hit the spot!!

After lunch, we hit the pool for a couple of hours, then enjoy the swim up bar for happy hour. Appetizer of fried mac and cheese.

Dinner is shrimp and pasta in white wine/butter sauce. Dark and Stormies for the guys. White wine for me. After dinner we play Mexican Train Dominoes, then it's early to bed. This alcohol infused day has kicked our butts, but man did we have a blast!
