We made it through the Deep Creek Lock and are underway at 9:15 am. There were 7 boats in the lock today.

Roberts attends meetings while manning the helm, and I try to tidy up a bit. SeaQuell is a nasty girl!!

We motor all morning; past Norfolk and the huge ships.

Lunch is leftover turkey dogs and hash browns for Robert; tuna for me.

After lunch we raise the main and the jib.

We made it to Wolftrap Light at 4:45. There's virtually no wind, and the flies are quickly invaded the premises.

We finally find some wind, and pick up a little speed. We turn into the Rappahannock River about 7:45.

We drop the sails before dark, and motor towards Urbanna Creek. There's s beautiful light show all around, but off in the distance, thank God!

By 10:15, we're heading into our slip at Urbanna Town Marina, after a pump out.

Short walk for Maggie; celebratory cocktails for Robert and I. Home for the summer!!!!
