We're up and at 'em at 6:30. Underway by 7. It's another gnarly day--- winds out of the NNW at 18 knots, and 2-3 ft. Waves.
We attempt to head out of the anchorage on the north side, but it's just too crappy. We decide to head around the south side thru Girl Jane Cut--- thankful for our shallow draft!!! It's significantly calmer on this route. Even on this route, it's not a smooth ride.
Things get better as lunchtime approaches. The winds are now a steady 10-12, and the waves are much less.
We motor sail to Green Turtle Cay--- arrive around 4 pm. We decide to spend a night at Bluff House Marina. Maggie is thrilled!!!
As long as we stay on the marina property, we don't have to clear customs just yet. That's a job for tomorrow!!
We head up to the bar/restaurant around 6 pm for a bite of Bahamian dinner. It's cracked conch/fries/ for Robert. Salad with grilled grouper for me. And of course, several libations to wash it all down!!
I enjoy a hot shower . It feels wonderful!!! I don't have to bathe in a few cups of water!
We head back to SeaQuell around 9 pm. Gonna be another early bedtime!!
We're so thankful to be in such a beautiful place!! Sweet dreams all!
