Back to Marsh Harbour

We're heading back to Marsh Harbour and Mangoes Marina today. Connie and Rick fly home tomorrow, and we have more guests arriving today.

Pete and Mary Russo (Robert's boss and his wife) arrive early afternoon today, and they are spending a week with us aboard SeaQuell.

We depart Hopetown around 9:30. It's beautiful today. Winds are light (about 9-10 knots), and the seas are calm. We fly the spinnaker the entire trip. We arrive in Marsh Harbour around 11:30. Our friend Don is there to catch our lines.

We enjoy bloody Mary's for lunch.

Connie and Rick do a little souvenir shopping after lunch. Robert goes to meet the Russos at the airport. I stay behind to do a little housekeeping.

Once Pete and Mary arrive, we all join aboard SeaQuell for cocktails. Then we head out in the dinghies for some snorkeling. Don has Mary and Pete in his dinghy. Connie and Rick ride with us in our dinghy. We have a very wet ride over to Mermaid Reef. The waves have certainly kicked up a bit since this morning.

The reef is beautiful!!! Hundreds of fish swim right beside us. Pretty fan coral wave with the flow of the currents. It's a beautiful underwater world!!! There just aren't any words to describe it!!

After snorkeling, we head over to the seafood market for lobster and conch. Planning to stock the freezer with it!

We join back up on SeaQuell for another round of drinks and some snacks.

Later, we enjoy dinner at Snappas. Conch fritters for appetizers. Mary has shrimp kabobs, Pete and I have fish sandwiches, Don has a Philly cheesesteak, Rick and Robert have blackened fish dinners. Everything is delicious!!!

The conversation is lively, and we have lots of laughs. It's so wonderful to have great friends and family. We're making lots of great memories!!! Life is indeed very good!!
