Hang in' in Hopetown

We've had another fun filled day in Hopetown!!
It started with breakfast-- leftover steak and potatoes from last nights' dinner with some scrambled eggs and biscuits. Don has shared the most delicious Siracha ketchup with us before, and it really goes well with today's menu.
After breakfast, we dinghy ashore to the beautiful candy striped lighthouse. The view from the top is breathtaking!!! We celebrate our climb to the top with a cold beer!!
Next stop, a quick marina tour, and a pit stop at the marina bathrooms. I never pass up an opportunity to use a conventional flush toilet!!
We ride around the Harbour in the dinghy, admiring other boats.
Around lunchtime, we walk to On Da Beach--- Robert's favorite bar. Don, Pete, and Mary have Goombay Smashes. I enjoy a Sex on Da Beach, and Robert has a beer. We enjoy shrimp kabobs, fish fingers and sandwiches for lunch. The ocean view here is beautiful.
We walk back to town, stop by the store for some juice and Bloody Mary mix, then head back to SeaQuell. The gals relax with a book, and the guys work on the dinghy hoist.
Dinner is vegetarian sloppy joes, coleslaw, and chips. Cookies for dessert.
After dinner, we complete our game of Mexican Train Dominoes. I still cannot believe that I won!!!! Must be the full moon!!!
We retiring early tonight. We plan to head over to Tiloo tomorrow for some more snorkeling.
