Update of landlocked sailor

20 April 2013 | Juneau, Alaska
Nice to see my blog is still on the site. Just a quick note to say I've been back in Juneau for the past couple of years taking classes at the University (degree deferred and now back on track).

However, I need to take a break, so next winter I'll be looking to crew on a tropics bound boat...preferably one that is heading south beyond Mexico.

Let me know if anyone out there needs a crew member. In the meantime, here's a nice Juneau picture for your enjoyment.

Thanks.

Wild Flower goes on without me

Yes, Wild Flower is going to a new owner, and I am going to...everywhere! I don't plan to give up cruising, but it will be on someone else's boat I hope. I'll be back on this blog at some point in the future...when I have a new sailing adventure to share.

In the meantime, I'm enjoying a very delightful little apartment in La Cruz on the north end of Bandaras Bay and will head back to the cold north country in a couple of months when the north country is less cold or at least closer to less cold.

Stay tuned and have a wonderful holiday season!

Adventure is always just over the next hill

Just a little update.

First, I haven't a clue yet as to what's happening this fall. I still have Wild Flower though...so far.

I find my love of posting photos has carried over into things I'm doing this summer, so I thought I'd let you know that I have a Facebook page (www.facebook.com/lynnekaystevens) with lots of pictures.

Hope you're having a great summer. I am. It's amazing how busy one can stay when they don't have to deal with work...or the paycheck.
