I was listening to the Patagonia radio net of the SSB this morning. It's a useful fifteen minutes. I don't join in but just by listening you get an idea of what others are up to, and sometimes the latest weather. To my surprise, up popped Jeanne Socrates on Nereida. She is attempting for the second or third time a singlehanded solo circumnavigation. The great news from her was the she had just rounded the Horn and was now in the Atlantic. She is a hell of sailor. Congratulations to her.
