Everything in the Garden's lovely

There's this great guy in Puerto Williams who can fix anything for you, and will even do your washing. He's called Dennis. I may have mentioned him before. He is a devotee of tea and has an academic knowledge of the subject. He was ecstatic today at having just tasted 'some darjeeling first flush'. I told him I was sticking to my PG Tips and he wasn't impressed. He's also a great gardener, probably the southernmost gardener in the world. So he handed to me a huge bunch of fresh parsley and mint which now stands in a mug of water in the galley. I have to say the boat is transformed. Apart from the scent of the mint, the smell of freshness and the sight of greenery adds something, but I am not certain what. But it certainly makes 'Wild Song' an even cheerier place.
