Lindesnes

17 January 2015 | Egersund
William
After victualling, diesel and water the course was set for Lindesnes. Beautiful sunshine and little wind had us motoring most of the day. Lista and around Lindesnes can be pretty awful when the weather is bad. Today, however, the trip was as pleasant as can be.
We berthed at Ramlandsvågen. This is a small very well protected harbour traditionally used for vessels waiting out bad weather before rounding the Lindesnes. It offers a small marine museum, and there are some cabins mostly hired by German families passing their summer holidays fishing in the area. We had now left Western Norway for the South, which meant a much greater chance of sun and milder temperature - and expectations were met for one more day.
