The Changing Weather

10 October 2011 | Too Far North
Doug
We are doing our part to revive the economy, with a substantial stimulus package called "Wilparina."

Tomorrow, we haul her out for the third time since we purchased her. Gone shortly will be the old, non-functioning generator. We're decommissioning two through-hull fittings - the sewage outflow and the generator exhaust. And we're saying a permanent goodbye to the traditional flush toilet system and holding tank. The "Airhead" composting toilet is on order.

Next week, we begin the electrical survey, which should generate a nice "to-do" list. Pull out a few more "boat units."
