A new day...

Yesterday afternoon I decided to "relax" a bit, have a swim and then watch the third round of the Masters. I enjoyed the swim, both in the fresh water pool and the ocean (where I was promptly told to "shower off" before entering the pool!), then was planning on sitting at PegLegs, the local bar & restaurant, to watch the golf.
But fate had a different state of affairs in mind for me. As the picture shows, today the 25 or so boats from the Oyster Regatta arrived and had a private party at PegLegs, and therefore it was closed - no TV, no Masters...
So i got on my folding bike (very cool by the way) and started riding towards Muligans, another restaurant I hope would have the Masters on. But that was not to be. On my way, and admittedly I am not the best bike rider in the world, I hit a huge speed bump - really it was almost the size of Mount Everest - and flew like superman until I hit the gravel covered ground.
I stood up, bleeding on my nuckles and forearm, a big, fat lip and one severely damaged ego! (please take a moment to LOL - laugh out loud). At the end of the day, all is well. My wounds will heal, and I've decided to take it easy today, primarily because I am pretty useless - sore hands and all.
So today is a day to upgrade my computer, install the WIFI amplifier and WALK to Peglegs to watch the Masters. I also look forward to welcoming Tito and the crew of Sea Si back to Nanny Cay(click on the link on the right side of the screen to view their voyage from the Canary Islands to St. Lucia last November/December in ARC 2007).
