Snorkeling around Pigeon island...

We 'wasted' most of the day catching up on e-mail .. (not the blog as my computer should stay on the boat) After we had lunch and got back on the boat we decided to go back to Pigeon island across the bay for some more snorkeling (you have to try to stay in shape ..) Jill 'made' me snorkel all the way around BOTH islands ... Probably + 1 Nm ... By the time we were back on the boat it was too late to get to [Basse Terre] but we made it to [Anse a la Barque] Anchoring seemed difficult as the Anchor didn't set 100% in 5-7m of muddy water ( must be a hard bottom) Tomorrow we are supposed to getup early and 'sail' to Iles the Saintes an Island group about 12Nm miles south of Guadeloupe (still French Territory) Winds are predicted 10-15knots for tomorrow ...but we will be protected most of the time by the island of Guadeloupe.... Probably lots of Motor Sailing :-(
