PlanetSolar Visits Boston

Earlier this year we were fortunate to visit onboard the PlanetSolar boat when she called in Boston. She is the first boat to circumnavigate entirely solar powered with electric engines.
All the technology on the boat is available off-the-shelf except for her top-secret Lithium-Ion batteries. She carries a megawatt of battery storage capacity, which works out to be about 500 times as much battery storage as we have in Windrifter.
