Sailing, Sailing...WooHoo!

Lots of fun today! We left Santa Barbara at a comfortable 10:50am and had an easy sail (and in shorts and tees!) to Channel Islands Harbor, tied up to the Pacific Corinthian Yacht Club and quickly appreciated their pool! Paulette joined us here for a great dinner upstairs at the clubhouse. This is great, getting to see friends in almost every port, and making new ones where we don't know already know someone.
"Otto" actually did most of the sailing.....we lounged.....and kept a sharp eye for kelp and wild life. We've been seeing lots of dolphins, but none were too interested until today.... The herd (flock, covey, pride?) gathered and raced towards our bow! So did we! We both ran up to the bow, hanging over, looking at the dolphins playing in our bow wave! Next time I'll go on the shady side of the boat, since most of the pictures had reflections, (see Gallery) and take the video cam... Very cool!!
Still looking for whales.
