All are doing well. Still bad seas (constant 6-8 ft, many 12-15 ft) and heavy wind (always over 15 kts), but we're making good progress. Boat speed over 6 kts, spurts of over 8 kts. In three days, we've covered 16% of our total trip to Nuku Hiva! Sailing under triple-reefed main and double-reefed jib. Solar panels doing very well. Towed water generator doing very well. All tired of movement difficulty as boat rocks in the seas. Movement anywhere requires careful planning, balance and strength. Noisy, rolling below decks makes sleeping difficult. Conni cut my hair today: too much hassle with limited shower opportunities. AIS valuable and has allowed us to be seen many miles away by large ships. Long for calm seas and expect them in a few days.
