All is well. It's VERY hot and humid as we motor through the InterTropical Convergence Zone: the meteorologic equator, the "seam" between the northern and southern hemisphere's weather systems. No wind at all, calm seas and we want OUT!
We reached the halfway mark this morning so we've got fewer miles ahead than behind us. That's exciting. The next big event will be crossing the equator. That's still some 300 nm away so a few days at least.
Since we're motoring, I decided to use the SSB to send this out of schedule. Still working on the spinnaker pole and am not sure, after all, that we'll be able to use it. A shame.
While motoring, it's possible to keep all of our electronics charged, a benefit.
We keep sloughing away, making miles. Conni's meals have made all the difference since they add variety, color, and flavor to the day. Last night was tuna curry with Chip's donated tuna. Lovely! No fishing since we have so much food!
Love to all.
Less N, more W!
