A month out

As the title says, we're a month out from leaving. We've accomplished a great many things and completed a great number of important tasks.
I have crew for all of the jumps, three will be aboard each jump, thankfully. An old family friend, a hiy who, I've known since I was 16 or 17 years old will arrive for the Rarotonga to Bora Bora leg. He's an experienced sailor and very good friend and I'm ecstatic to welcome him aboard. His name is Darden and he'll be an asset.
Phil will crew from Fiji to French Polynesia, John from Fiji to Rarotonga, and Darden from Rarotongs to French Polynesia.
The remaining piece to our new forward-looking sonar arrived and I've ordered a new cart chip for that unit, too. Charts for the main Charlotte and iPad backup have also been renewed.
The sails have been repaired, dinghy repaired, and most leaks fixed or we hope so.
We arrive in Fiji on 11 April and Conni returns home three weeks later. I'll have my crew aboard by May 1 and we'll start looking at weather windows for the first jump to Tonga. With any luck, commissioning the boat won't require the full 3 weeks that Conni's in town and we'll get a week of cruising, just the two of us. Jeez, I hope so.
Lastly, I am planned to return to AK before July 1 to teach a class, but if the class is not funded, we'll just stay and cruise for a few weeks. Again, I hope it's not funded and we can go cruising.
I've got a few remaining tasks to complete and a very few more purchases, vut the list grows smaller.
Perhaps we'll be ready and the boat tasks for which we've paid will have been adequately accomplished.
