Tired Bill
Another SSB report made while charging batteries with Honda.
VERY lumpy seas most of the time. Winds between 15-25 kts, so we're careful not to overpower the boat. Double reef in main at all times, single or double reef in jib, depending on conditions, but always double at night.
Crew doing well. John is feeding us well with delicious and creative meals. Last night he outdid himself with pasta and doctored red sauce.
Even with 4-hr watches, we're getting a sleep deprived. I am, at least, since I get called quite often on someone else's watch to help out a situation. Was up most of last night.
We spend most of our time in the cockpit, and come below for toilet and sleeping. Gets cool at night and we all wish for a stable platform to enjoy a good sleep. Maybe in NIue.
With furled jib, can't sail close to wind and that's both slowing our speed and keeping us well off course. Not much for it but we'll pay for it later.
Conni, note boat speed with double reef main, single jib. Not overpowered I don't think.
More later. My watch while charging batteries!
