I've made it back to the world. The best thing about Antarctica is that it makes you really appreciate all the little things that we take for granted, such as; the smell of grass and flowers, warm sunshine, rain, a day with both night and day, people, birds, dogs, sounds of life everywhere. Antarctica is void of so much of that, especially in the winter.

Today I sat in the park and just watched life go on all around me. I was amazed at what I could smell, hear and see. I sat there for about 2 hours, then I got up and joined in.
