We continue to motor NE toward the northwesterlies that are blowing along the British Columbia coast. We hope to reach them by Saturday night. We are sitting under another high pressure system, clear blue skies, warm weather, and calm seas. It feels so weird to have these conditions out here on the Pacific. This is why we conserved our fuel, however, for just this situation.

Shamrock is safe after Tropical Storm Julio passed them by during the night. The transmission was very poor this morning, so we don't have details, only that they are all fine. They had hove to in 35 knot winds, drifting toward the SW. Julio finally changed course to NE as had been predicted for several days. It's just that he took his sweet time about it. Shamrock is likely back on course for Juneau.

We are hoping to make landfall early next week.
