Still Raining and a Change of Plans

Yesterday morning we left Barra and instead of turning left to head to Santiago, we made a right turn and came back to Tenacatita. We realized that it being the week between Christmas and New Years, the beach and waters in Santiago would be full of people on holidays and most likely lots of jet ski's. So we opted for the quieter location of Tenacatita. There is a small campground here on the beach and yes it is full of campers but it's still pretty quiet here. Once in while there might be a jet ski come through but it's usually only one.
It's been cloudy and rainy for 3 days now! What's up with that. Each night for 3 nights it has poured rain. The decks on the boat are nice and clean which is a bonus. But the overcast is kinda getting old now. We want our hot and sunny Mexican weather back please. I feel bad for the folks who paid to come down for a week or two and this is the weather they are getting.
Back here in the bay, the water has really cleared up. It wasn't very clear when we were here last week so it's a nice change. Unfortunately with the clearness the price is that the temperature has dropped. Last week it was 27.9 celcius and this week it's 25.3. I'll be wearing my neoprene to go snorkeling!!
No plans so far for New Years Eve it may just be a quiet one. But I wish everyone the best for 2014 and may you have health and prosperity throughout the year.
