One of the things I love most about Mexico is the colours. It seems that everywhere you go vibrant colours greet you, some man made and some very natural. In this part of Mexico (Pacific West coast), it is mostly jungle with the occasional cactus thrown in. There is a tree in this area that has beautiful purple flowers and at this time of the year it is in bloom and against the dark green backdrop it is very lovely. Throw in the brilliant blue ocean and the word stunning comes to mind.
Walk through almost any Mexican town and you will have a chance to see brightly painted houses in Marigold, Pink, Bright Blue and even Red. In every market the clothing is bright, the housewares and tablecloths and yesterday I bought myself some bright red and yellow croc type shoes - I love them! All the pottery, jewellery, carpets and blankets are mostly brightly coloured. Everyday is a feast for the eyes!
