Fiji is know for friendly people and some of the world's best diving. We have been lucky to experience both. Compared w/ Polynesia or NZ shopping is a bargin and the local market is loaded w/ fruit and vegies. Becky and I are headed to a seminar on how to cruise the islands w/o getting into trouble. Land ho

Beautiful night sail through the islands and reefs surrounding Fiji. We had 20kts on the beam w/ 1m seas (as good as it gets) and although a little squally it has opened up a clear sky this am. Good fishing on this passage w/ 3 tuna, 1 wahoo and 2 dorado, probably didnt need all the ground beef but one never knows. Plan to clear customs in Savu Savu reported to be very friendly compare to Suva but who knows? . It's good to see land the the stunning volcanic peaks, looking forward to a walk and a cold beer.
