Leisurely morning. The wind continued to blow all night and we had several showers of rain. Charlie and I got up and brought the cockpit cushions down. Still blowing and showering this morning, so no big rush to get up and start doing. Charlie fixed French toast out of homemade Bahamian cinnamon-raisin bread. After breakfast I started marinara for dinner. By 11:30 the sun had come out and the clouds had mostly dissipated. Charlie, Chris and Holly headed out in the dinghy to do some island exploring. They were gone almost 4 hours. They covered two trails. Hiking to the top of the small hills on the north side of the island, then across the south end of the island to the Sound/windward side of the island. They said the surf was really up. I sat on the boat, stirred the marinara occasionally, and read all day. The wind seems to be calming some as the afternoon and evening progresses. Dinner is spaghetti and meatballs and garlic bread. Tomorrow's plan is to sail down to the Exuma Land and Sea Park headquarters at Wardwick Wells.
