The sun shines and the wind blows

Well as mentioned in the last blog, we got away this morning about 10.45am for the bridge opening, after a small diplomatic incident
with a German boat who was asking to come along side we think, being fluent I said 'Nine' and gestured!
Motored through the sound in gusts between F6-7 on the nose, so no sailing then Navigator Nichola piloted us into Dyvig.... through a channel
about 1.25 boat widths wide..... gulp! She was cool calm and collected and threaded the needle perfectly, though she will be the first to
confess that she breathed a sigh of relief once through! We rounded the corner and couldn't believe there were 9 British boats in the anchorage,
from BKYC, which meant we had to squeeze in near the moorings, but that might mean we can pick up a wi-fi signal.
Nichola is currently off exploring in one of the ships canoes, whilst I catch up with the blog, and service and polish Rupert. The temp has at last
started to climb, and the shorts may have to be released from winter quarters.
Tomorrow we are heading towards Faaborg, and may stop at a small island called Lyo for the night, depending on the wind. We are aiming to be in either Aero,
or Svenborg at the weekend, to keep us on schedule and our rough plan in place to be 5 weeks in Denmark, 4 weeks in Sweden and 1 or 2 weeks in Norway
before heading across the north sea to Scotland, Ouch aye the noo!

PS the army boats have all left, and we are almost alone, and there is free wifi. Cleaning the stove won't be such a chore
