Tornadoes, funnel clouds and hail in Northern Ireland!!

skip downpours!
Would you believe the weather! It is more like the American mid-west than Northern Ireland!
Thankfully Emerald avoided the large thunder clouds that spawned the tornado but we did get some torrential rain with hail in the usual hour before arrival to the next destination. Soaked and sand blasted in one! We had a quieter trip than the previous three or four hops from Falmouth. I think I remember what the sun is? Emerald has been fine with only the usual wear and tear. For example our propane regulator gave up (exciting BIG flames at the cooker!) and we were able to source a replacement propane regulator eventually which my brother-in-law Billy was good enough to go and pick up for us THANKS BILLY!!!
We've also got a coolant leak somewhere, I think from the 12V pump that drives the heating and hot water circuit but tracking it down is proving elusive as it only happens when the engine is hot and cooling down.
I've therefore left little bits of rag wrapped around the likely culprits so time will tell if I can find it. In the mean time I'm topping up the engine as necessary once a week.
We're looking to head to Rathlin Island on Friday and onward to Islay on Saturday or Sunday depending on the weather, as the low we currently have is still hanging around and may bring strong winds just for a change..
Lets hope the weather improves soon! We've still got 4 degrees of Northing to make to Kirkwall, or 240Nm further north than here. I may have to get the mukluks out!
