Pipes and curses

08 February 2007 | Brighton, UK
Nichola
We escaped snow today although the rest of the UK has gone into meltdown after a few inches fell today.
This week we are replacing the plumbing on the boat. So far we've completed:
1) Replacing all the filler hoses with much dismantling of the boat and also with curses from the Skipper.
2) Discovering leaking water tanks - now fixed with a handy piece of plastic and the wonders of Sikaflex.
3) Building of the new 6 way tank manifold that will be used to control flow from each of the tanks and to monitor water usage with a ProModule water meter.
Tomorrow the plan is to nuke the tanks with the bug-killer powder we have.
