A piece of boating history.

12 October 2008
Skip Brighton (sunny all day ;-) )
We came across Sulihali in the Southampton boat show. This was the first boat to sail non stop around the world, sailed by Sir Robin Knox Johnston. A great book, 'A world of my own' and a must read I feel for all would be adventurers.

We haven't made much progress since my last blog, though we did strip off the cockpit canopy today and get that all cleaned up, taking advantage of the sunny day. I'll coat it with fabric waterproofing tomorrow weather permitting which should see us through to spring. It's amazing how quickly winter is approaching and with so much left to do!!!!!!!!!!

Next week I'll make a start on the heating and get my list of tasks ordered in how I'd like to attack them, and what outside help I may require.

Cheers for now.
