Well, been another busy weekend/week on emerald. We've got the mast sorted, Nichola went flying to do the last job of putting spreader protectors on. I managed to geta few things finished. The aft cabin anchor watch gps, spare vhf and instrument repeater are all installed tested and working.The solar array is wired up and producing 12amps in late afternoon, so I'm expecting 20~25 amps at mid day peak. We've also put up a few cabin tidies, winch handle holders and installed a cheap AIS tracker, and an electronicbarograph.
So we've still a bit of instrument wiring to do, and the aft hatch, (removal starts tomorrow) and the anchor gear to sort out. busy busy busy!
Plus the flying wife was manic in the galley today as well, with home made pitta, homous, and guacamole, botlle of environmentally chilled rose and some mellow tunes in the cockpit this evening as the sun set. Life is good!
