Wind, yes, more wind, yes, ok that's enough wind now!

17 July 2009 | Studland Bay
skip : 40 plus knots
Well, we are still in Studland, getting battered by the wind, steadily increasing past 40 knots and quite exposed to the NW with cliffs behind us and not the singer though i'd be equally nervous!

Nichola has spent the day creating a walnut tart and i've been pottering, making lists of repairs and keeping a weather eye out. So far we haven't dragged, and the wind is due to drop to only 25 knots later. Look on the bright side we are boat bound on anchor watch and therefore not in the pub, so saving money!

Nichola appears to have ship fever currently! Either that or a chocolate rush, having been licking the cooking utensils all afternoon. It could well be time to crack out the gin.

Photo is of me playing the same three chords since I was 18, in the calm before the tempest!

Time to take some photos of the beautiful tart.

PS enough wind now thank you!
