It is not always the obvious
Sherryl11/24/2011, North Atlantic
I suppose one can compare it to the Kruger Park. You are supposed to see the big five. For me, that's not always the highlight. I prefer the less obvious treats that the universe puts before my eyes.

I've been reading both your and Gary's and (shamed into contributing) Pat's blogs. I'm so enjoying all your adventures! I have added them both to my blogreader so I feel like I'm right there experiencing all the wonders with you. Huge love to all. Xxxxxxxx

Was quickly scaning your blogs but was so busy with all the Sasol parties (dont you know about them!!!!) that there was no time reading and taking everything in. I have hope now that Lean will be able to help with the washing when he retires, even if it means that we must get on a boat! Good man Pat. Feel sorry for you about the water in your cabin. We had the same in Croatia and I think it is more the shock of cold water all over you!!! that makes you gatvol gekross. Such a nice Afrikaans word. I was just thinking the other day that you will enjoy Paris dearly after the hard work on the boat. Enjoy Grenada in the mean time. LOL

4 weeks today!!!
Sherryl11/14/2011, south atlantic
i really find it hard to believe that today, four weeks ago, we pulled aboard our mooring lines and motored out of our mooring at the Cape Grace Marina in Cape Town.

Love your blog again. I think it was so wise of the tanker to change course!!! He can get hurt playing with Chez Patrick. I am so glad you are still happy on the boat with all the high waves, big tankers etc and not be afraid. That takes a brave girl. You are going to be a award winning chef when you get off this boat with all the baking and cooking. Wish I can taste some of it!!! Love to Pat.
11/15/2011 | T
Hullo to all! Just loved your blog entry- it's honest and real and makes great reading! The story about the supertanker changing course really touched me. How polite and civilized! Gosh I imagine it's just going to get hotter and hotter! Thank goodness for your little pool! Lots and lots of love from us all!! Xx
